She had been wanted all her life, hatched into a family of human criminals who robbed banks and committed murders, who were on the run and constantly traveling. Though the families reputation, and their cruel ways, they were always kind to her and treated her fairly. It beats her how such a terrible family could be so kind on the inside. Maybe it was that they were insane, maybe it was that they were just softies on the inside and had become enrages on the outside. She never knew, but the Murkrow didn’t care. She actually enjoyed what she did. She loved the thrill of being on the run, the thrill of the make-believe hunt. It made her happy, not to mention she enjoyed her families company. Her family was made up of two males and two females, whose names she picked up late on: Carry, a small, thin lady around the age of twenty two; Michael, around 25, a tall man who always wore a Hawaiian shirt; Joseph, a small man, probably around 20; and finally Sunshine(the Murkrow never knew her real name, but that’s what they called her), a 19 year old woman who always seemed to be happy, hence the name.
The Murkrow, after she became old enough, began helping them with their plans. The first mission she was ever on was robbing the pokemon center in a small town, which was not charted on the maps. First the family had one member, disguised as an old man, walk in and ask for their pokemon healed. While Nurse Joy was healing them, other members walked in and surveyed the room, then quickly walked out, unnoticed. Right after, the Murkrow came in and looked for the surveying cameras, only finding one and turning it off quietly, managing to make only a small clinking sound heard only if up close. The Murkrow waited for a signal, which was the “old man” walking in again and asking nurse joy a ridiculously long question. Quickly, she darted off into another room, where large shelves of Pokeballs were just sitting there. Taking out a large bag she had been holding in her beak, she did her best to shove the in with her wing, making as less noise as possible. Then the unexpected happened. She could hear footsteps outside, and hiding behind one of the shelves, she watched as Nurse Joy came in, and luckily, took some pokeballs that weren’t stolen by her, and walked out. How did she not noticed missing ones, well she had been facing the other directions. But it didn’t matter at the time. She quickly flew out of the room, carrying the bag in her beak. There wasn’t very much in it, but it was enough. Dashing out the back door, she found the van they traveled in, but no one was there.
Where did they all go?
She looked around, carefully examining her surroundings. Dropping the bag, she flew to the sky, looking down in a birds-eye-view. She saw them, but there was a police car – and they were going in it! She gasped, and flew off, not willing to get caught, but tearing up because she was abandoning her family. The Murkrow flew off into other cities, hiding from police. Even though the police might not of been looking for her, she knew she couldn’t take a chance. Then again, she could reunite with her family, and maybe get them out of there and help them escape. But no, it was too risky. What could she do? She began going insane with all the thoughts in her head, she had abandoned her family! How could she! The Murkrow couldn’t decide what to do, so she started to think, what should I do? She couldn’t go back to crimes, maybe she could become a non-criminal! Someone like the police, but no, that’s a houndooms job… She began to not care, and over the course of two months began designing a reputation of herself, cleaning trash from the park, helping others with jobs as best she could. She began to live in the park in a city, and hoped that she could get herself off the polices wanted list. She prayed to Arceus every night for a good next day, she had learned to do this from an elderly man that was homeless. She liked spending time with her, and soon became best friends.
Sadly, the epidemic kicked in.
After sleeping in the trees, she had found himself in a mess, the undead hadn’t found her, and she hopped down from the tree. The park was empty, the smell of blood loomed. She hopped around for a bit, then took flight to survey the landscape of the city. Everyone was gone, surely they couldn’t evacuate an entire city overnight! Or… had they? The Murkrow was confused, and landed next to a road sign next to the exit of the city. On the sign was a poster, labeled, “WANTED: BLACKLIGHT, REWARD, $100.” Above the text was a picture of her. Since when was she named Blacklight, and how did she not know of this? It looked rather new, maybe printed around a week ago. The Murkrow, now taking in the name “Blacklight” flew off, searching for everyone in the city. Maybe they had taken cover somewhere underground? She didn’t care, as long as she knew where all these nice people were – and how they got there. After searching for hours, she gave up. She had seen some infected prowling around, and did her best to avoid them, luckily all of them were land pokemon. The Murkrow landed on one of the buildings, and rested for a bit. Taking in that they were gone, she knew she would have to go somewhere else. Blacklight flew into the skies, in search for the town’s people.
Appearance-
She is a normal Murkrow, nothing different from any other.
Personality-
Blacklight often makes sure no one is around her. She doesn't enjoy company, but sometimes she can stand it. When the Murkrow is happy, she can become very hyper, though that rarely happens. She often is depressed or just plan no-emotions.
